If you read this…
for goodness’ sake, comment, so I have something to read, too.
Work was beyond fascinating today. The kids are still testing, which is great for me ’cause even the bad ones are busy. I had a meeting in the early morning with the BossMan. I left that meeting with an agenda and didn’t get one free second the rest of the day to work towards any of the goals.
I had an AHA moment while listening to one of the girls. She spoke a mile a minute, knew 500 peoples’ names despite having been there in less time than I, and weaved a tale that would top ANY reality TV drama. I was fully amazed by her capacity to be completely different than me. Later, we pulled in six girls into the office and WOW.
I played tennis after work. I think Katie’s plan to play so bad that we would quit asking herr to play failed considering that she asked me for help. I asked her if she was committed, if she’d read “The Inner Game.” That’s the best way I can think to show my appreciation for her being so kickbooty in my life; to have her read this.
I listened to Tony Robbins s’more and remotivated myself to look at the question posted below. Mom emailed, too, on the exact subject. Bobby, too. Amazing how everyone’s on the same page for me. I just hope I can get through this chapter successfully. It’s longer than I’d like.
Weekend plans include a 100 mile bikeride, a civil war reinactment and meeting the girl of my dreams. (Play “one of these things does not belong” theme music from Sesame Street.) Get’r'done.
